My Prattle:
This was my first Thai movie. And still is the only Thai movie I've ever watched. As the name says, it has all the elements of a first love, I mean "everything", literally. It can relate to every one of us in some way or the other. After watching it you'll understand why this is a must post in this list.

The cast was very good. Everyone was just perfect for their roles. The main cast i.e, for the roles of Nam, Shone and Teacher Inn, standout the most, action wise among others. The girl who did the role of Nam was really good. I liked the way she acted in the last scenes where she finally confesses to Shone.

The story depicts love in the eyes of young people, when they first begin to experience it. It shows how it can affect their lives and aspirations. Nam is an ordinary high school girl, who has a crush on the most popular boy in school. She's considered unattractive in general. But that doesn't deter her from giving it her all to get Shone to notice her. The things Nam and her friends do, to get Nam noticed by Shone are funny and cute. Shone is the the perfect depiction of every high school girl's dream guy. He's handsome, generous and the most popular boy in school. But inside he's just like any other high school boy, awkward and shy at expressing his feelings to the girl he like's. Teacher Inn is the major supporting role in the movie. Her story runs on the sidelines and mostly adds to the comedy of the movie.

I didn't like the way they showed so much difference in her skin tone. Yeah I get the point that she's supposed to be an ordinary unattractive high school girl, who begins to change herself to get her noticed by the one she loves. But I think the difference in the two skin tones was way too big to be considered normal. Other than the skin tone, the way she wears her school uniform, hair etc also change. I almost thought that she was a completely different person altogether. One factor might be, the out of ordinary skin whitening, but other than that, she also seemed taller and like a completely different person to me. So i had to pause and go back to the starting scenes and compare and see to confirm that she's the same person. And I was surprised from what I found. I never knew that things, as small and insignificant as, how we wear our school uniform can bring so much difference in the way we look.

I also didn't like the ending. I am not getting down to specifics as I don't want this to be a spoiler. It just didn't seem natural. But if we don't consider the realistic and naturalness of the turn of events, then the ending's good.

It is said to be inspired by a true story. I am not sure if that's true. It's a really sweet, cute and innocent depiction of love from the eyes of young, when they first begin to feel it. It mostly targets the teen and might not suit the tastes of adult audience. But I think that even they can relate to this story, as it can be a reminder of their feelings when they first experienced love.
